Micky was born in the GDR and the wall came down when she was still a tot. Though Berlin was reunited in her early childhood, she does note that many adults still divide the city in their minds and have prejudices against each other. These not-so-obvious prejudices are then passed on to some of the younger generation, creating a prevalent type of discrimination between some “Ossis” and “Wessis” citizens.
