View from my bed: the sun always wakes me before my alarm.
Recently I downloaded the instagram app for my iPhone and immediately fell in love with the square formatting.
Feeling inspired, I decided to take it out for a test drive and photographed a series of images surrounding my daily life. Typically these are the types of images that would be put in my photo blog, but for some reason I just can’t bring myself to put instagram photos on the same level of scanned slides/negatives and work shot manually on my DSLR. (Biased, yes, but it’s just how I feel.)
And so, I’d like to present you with a collection of images I took this week that make up a typical day of my life.
Weekday makeup: concealer, mascara and eyeliner
After a cramped ride on the Victoria line, I welcome the change at Stockwell.

Sometimes I take my shoes off and rest them on the ledge behind my desk while I work.
Occasionally the office dog gets out and roams the car park.
I tend to check out art exhibits after work. This week I went to a private viewing of Elad Lassry’s work at White Cube, Hoxton Square.
Up to the top floor to get home.
Only my favourite shoes ever!
I always notice my reflection in the kettle when I cook.
I love to cook, especially for my friends!
