Bonjour printemps, et salut My Little Flower Box, er, Book! This month the My Little Box team mixed things up with a book – instead of a box! – telling the story of the “season that’s been gone for far too long”.
Opening up to tell the story of spring, this book was filled with flowers…
…in quite the literal sense!
The first treat I found inside my box was an apartment garden.
And it was filled with everything I’d need for a mini garden.
All I had to do was dampen the paper in the bottom (there is a plastic tray between that and the outside of the cardboard) and sprinkle in the seeds!
Since taking this picture I’ve placed it in the kitchen, away from direct sunlight, and as long as I remember to water it daily it should sprout some greenery for our flat.
True to the theme, My Little World features many articles about flowers – from figures (1,500,00 flowers in bloom on a single – giant – wisteria vine in California, apparently!) to a list of Fleurs Magiques and their ~superpowers~.
Next up: this month’s lifestyle extra! A pochette pour lingerie by balzac paris for My Little Box.
Designed for keeping lace and silk garments safe during travel, it’s a sweet idea for anyone looking to keep their delicate underthings free of snags!
This month’s three beauty items included a nail varnish, a face mask and a body wash. Which were all floral themed, of course!
This detoxifying face mask (for ‘rosy mornings’) by My Little Beauty looks like a lovely way to start the day – as long as I can wake up in time to spend five extra minutes for this to work it’s magic on my face! But a girl can certainly dream.
This L’Occitane body wash with peony extracts smells lovely, and at travel size will come in hand when I’m jetting off for weekends away this summer! (I know hotels offer body wash, but I like to have options.)
Finally there is this rosy – but it dries clear! – base coat by Nails Inc., which I used almost immediately. Which is much appreciated because I’m nearly out of my current base coat! Talk about luck.
Voila! What do you think of April’s book-box?
Much love, Katie xo
