Review: Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate

Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate - 1

It’s been a while since I was gifted the new Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate*, but after more than a month of using it near daily I thought it was about time I actually got around to writing about it. I mean, what on earth was I waiting for? I’d obviously already made up my mind about it!

Kiehl’s sent me the new Daily Reviving Concentrate* serum to try out in July, and for the past month I’ve been using it near daily since.

It’s designed to work with tired looking, fatigued skin to help support skin’s natural defense system for healthy, revived looking skin. It contains sunflower oil to help reinforce the skin barrier, tamanu oil to reduce the appearance of daily damage & replenish and soothe skin, and ginger root essential oil to preserve skin efficacy.

I’ve been applying it post hydration spray (I’m currently rotating Meltiva’s Damask Rose Floral Water, which is wonderfully refreshing, and the La Roche-Posay Serozinc, which is great for when my skin is feeling irritated from the weather) and pre moisturiser (I’m currently rotating the Environ AVST 1 Moisturiser* and Kate Sommerville Nourish Daily Moisturiser). It goes on smoothly, feels lightweight and my skin drinks it up. It’s an oil so it leaves a lovely looking glow, and I find my skin looks a bit more radiant throughout the day. Because it helps my skin stay hydrated throughout the day my makeup doesn’t go patchy, either, which can be a problem for me if my morning routine isn’t up to scratch. It also hasn’t irritated my skin or caused any breakouts – result!

It arrived with a sample size of the Midnight Recovery Concentrate (which I love!) so I suspect it’s intended as the morning version of this bedtime staple.

Have you tried the Daily Reviving Concentrate yet? What did you think of it?
