Daily motivation is something I’ve struggled to find while staying so close to home for so many months, away from friends and colleagues, without the stimulation of new sights, sounds and smells, so I’ve set myself some goals to try to help with staying motivated – and one of them is to walk 100km this month. Art is also one of the things I miss the most with lockdowns, so walking 4 hours round trip in the freezing cold for this opportunity was a no brainer. Continue reading

What’s the true cost?
What’s the true cost? So often I’ve found myself questioning the price tag on a garment. “Yikes that’s pricey, isn’t it? I can get similar cheaper…” But I didn’t question the cost of the artworks at the Royal Academy Summer Show. In fact, I found myself defending the price because of the quality, the craft, the creativity, … Continue reading
Review: Dining at Europe’s First P.F. Chang’s [sponsored]
P.F. Chang’s in London has been open for nearly a year now, and this summer they’re offering a special, off-menu, Wimbledon-inspired dessert to those who know to ask. To help spread the word about this exclusive treat, I was invited to enjoy a dinner on the house so that I could try it out for … Continue reading

Any excuse to dress up is an excuse I’m willing to take, and Saturday night dinner is always a good one! Recently for a night out I channeled my inner 1970s for a look featuring fringe on fringe with fringe (i.e. bangs, for my American friends)! Continue reading

Tea tasting at Piacha, Upper Street
Piacha is a cute little tea shop on Upper Street in Islington, and you lot know just how much I enjoy exploring Islington! So when Mokuska invited me, as a fellow tea lover, to join her for a complimentary tea tasting evening there was no way I was going to say no. Bring on the tea… Continue reading
Champagne Life at Saatchi Gallery, London
To commemorate Saatchi Gallery’s thirtieth birthday, Charles Saatchi is hosting his first all-female exhibition, Champagne Life, which brings together fourteen emerging female artists from around the world. I visited the other week with my friend Carmen, and here are some of the pieces that caught my eye… Continue reading
