yellowbluepink by Ann Veronica Janssens has been open at the Wellcome Collection in London for months now, but for whatever reason, I’ve only just got around to going!
I really loved it, so here’s a picture diary of Jeff & my time exploring the exhibit…

First impressions: where are my feet? I can barely see them anymore!

Oh hey, welcome to the pink section!

Moving from pink to yellow, and I have no idea if there’s anyone else in this picture!

Smile, Jeff! 😉

But first, lemmie take a selfie…

*Loving* this exhibit!

Somewhere between yellow and blue.

Holding hands so we don’t get separated on the way out…

Pretending I’m a monster of the blue before it’s time to go!
This installation explores light and colour as the gallery is filled with coloured mist, obscuring any details of surface or depth.
What seemed like a fairly basic concept was, in actuality, a really stimulating experience. It was easy to get lost in the room – quite literally because you couldn’t see further than about a meter in front of you, and figuratively because the colours gave the impression of being in a fantasy world.
If you get the chance to pop by before it closes on Sunday I’d say go, go go!
yellowbluepink by Ann Veronica Janssens is open at the Wellcome Collection until 3 January and is free of charge. See more on their site here: http://wellcomecollection.org/exhibitions/states-mind-ann-veronica-janssens
