It feels like forever ago that I picked these items up in the USA, but that’s my fault for sitting on this review for ages. Now that I’ve had plenty of time (that’s an understatement!) to form an opinion on these particular products, it’d be rude for me not to share with you…
Ultimate Thickening Shampoo – While I have a lot of hair, it’s very fine and curly so I like to use thickening shampoos to help bulk it out and look a bit more luscious. This shampoo absolutely ticks the box on getting my hair clean and removing any product I’ve used (which is what a shampoo should do first & foremost!), and I find my hair also looks more thick when I use it. Sadly, it doesn’t do much in the way of volume (and my hair needs help with that, especially at the roots!) so I find myself alternating it for a volumising shampoo every other wash and it’s job done.
Rice & Wheat Volumizing Conditioning Rinse – In true Kiehl’s style this conditioner does what it says on the tin. I find my ends feel quite soft and hydrated after I’ve used this conditioner, and because I use it on the lengths it also looks a bit more voluminous than had I not. All in all I’m happy with this conditioner.
Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado – Oh, the Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado! It’s one of my favourite eye creams, and I’ve written about it quite a few times before. This purchase was to replace the previous one that I’d used up, and I’ve not been disappointed. I find it lightens the dark circles that naturally appear beneath my eyes and I don’t find it drying. Lately I’ve been using it in the morning to help me appear a bit more awake, and when teamed up with concealer it works wonders for me.
Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution – After using several sample sachets of the Dark Spot Solution and being pleased with the results I decided to invest in the full size bottle. This product was designed to help reduce the appearance of dark spots, discolourations and hyperpigmentation, and I find that’s what it’s done for me. To be fair it did take about a month for me to start seeing results, but that’s about the length of time for an average skin life cycle in a person my age so I’m not really surprised. Sometimes it pays off to be patient!
Creme de Corps – I received this as a deluxe sample with this order, and I’m glad I did because I’m not sure if I’d purchase it. The formula is very thick and I find it felt nourishing, but it was so thick I struggled to get it out of the container. It wasn’t until I chose to cut the bottle open to scoop out that I was able to use it properly. It looks like the full sized version is sold with a pump, which should be easier to use – I just wish the sample came in either a pot or with a pump!
Have you tried any of these products? Would you try them? Let me know what you think!
A great selection of products! I’m heading out to the U.S. later in the month so can’t wait to stock up then. The avocado eye cream is definitely first on my list! X
