[Comfort Zone] is a brand I’ve heard of, but always in a spa capacity so I hadn’t gone out of my way to try any of their products. But, by chance, I had the luck of being offered a sample Day & Night kit to review and now I’m keen to try other products in their range! Till then, here’s what I thought of the items in the gift set…
The Day & Night kit that I tried included a makeup remover that is safe for the eye area, cleansing milk, day cream and night cream. They’re also handy travel sizes, so I popped them into my carry on during my USA trip last month to help keep my skin looking great while traveling.
This make-up remover is safe for the eye area, and when I was trying it out I didn’t notice any burning sensation. (My eyes are so sensitive!) The two words that come to mind when thinking about this product are 1. effective and 2. gentle. The product description says it is without perfume, but I noticed a very mild (and, to repeat myself: gentle) scent which was pleasingly pleasant and not at all abrasive.
To use it just soak a cotton pad and sweep over your eyes, no need to rub. If you like to use eye makeup removers, then this is one I’d happily suggest checking out.
I’ve got very oily skin, so when I see that a skincare product is meant for ‘all skin conditions’ I understandably get a bit nervous that my face may end up looking like a greaseball! But there’s only one way to find out, and I’m happy to report that after using the majority of this little bottle my skin stayed balanced.
This cleansing milk is creamy and delicately fragranced with notes of white flowers, which I found wonderfully soothing. It’s incredibly gentle, yet still manages to leave skin feeling clean and fresh.
The Hydramemory Extra Cream 24H is a nourishing face cream designed to offer a lasting moisturising effect.
This cream had a heavier consistency than the moisturisers I usually use, and for that reason I didn’t really love it. However, it did the job and left my skin feeling moisturised and soft, so make of that what you will.
This night cream contains antioxidants and hyaluronic acid, and is designed for dehydrated skin while offering anti-aging properties.
Most nights I use an oil to help keep my oily skin balanced, so I tried putting this cream on top (too heavy for me!) and also using it in place of the oils. It’s a heavy cream and my skin is sensitive, so while it was a fab replacement for night oils while I was visiting Maine with near 0C temperatures at bedtime when my skin needed some extra attention, I haven’t been loving it in London with the warmer-than-that spring weather. I’d recommend it if you like the feeling of a heavy cream, because it does work.
Have you tried any [comfort zone] products?
Much love, Katie xo
