Dr Bronner’s Organic Lip Balm

Dr Bronners Magic Organic Lip Balm - 11
It feels like every day my lip balm goes missing (you too?) and I end up digging through my handbag and coat pockets for one that I just know is in there… somewhere. And when it’s a lip balm emergency I’m pretty happy to apply just about anything, but to avoid that I tend to stock up on products I know I like – and by that I don’t mean bulk buy, but rather I put them everywhere: one in a coat pocket, another in my purse, another in the inside pocket of my handbag…

Recently I was lucky enough to be sent some of the Dr Bronner’s Organic Lip Balms* in Naked and Peppermint to try, and I instantly put them into rotation (one in my makeup kit, the other in my coat pocket) to see how they managed.

These balms contain beeswax (sorry, vegan friends) so they help lock in moisture by building a barrier between lips and the outside world. They also contain jojoba seed oil and avocado oil, both of which can help moisturise. A quick swipe on before the walk to the tube protected my lips against the cold and wind, and when applied under lipstick for an evening out they helped keep my lips from drying out.

You can pick these up all over, and a quick Google search shows them in stock at ASOS (£3), Love Lula (£2.69) and also the Dr Bronner’s website (£2.69).

Ingredients, Naked: Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Organic Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Organic Beeswax, Organic Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil, Tocopherol

Ingredients, Peppermint: Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Organic Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Organic Beeswax, Organic Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil, Organic Mentha Peperita (Peppermint) Oil, Tocopherol
