One of these things is not like the other, one of these things does not belong…
Have you spotted the odd one out? That’s right – it’s the dry shampoo!
We all know I’m fascinated with skin care – it’s one of the biggest topics on my blog, not to mention predominantly what I bought for myself while in Paris – but I also love my hair, and I put a lot more effort than I’d like to admit into caring for it. So when I saw Klorane’s Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk on nearly every ‘must buy’ list for French Pharmacy shopping, I wasn’t about to let one pass me by…
Or, rather, I wasn’t about to let two pass me by because I bought two in a buy one/get one free offer. And you know what? In the month following my Paris trip I managed to use one of those bottles up!
One of the things that attracted me to Klorane’s Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk was the fact that it was advertised as good for use on brown hair, which is great, because so many dry shampoos leave a powdery white residue that just looks unsightly. (That annoyance doubles if the dry shampoo isn’t particularly great!) I’ve tried this one in both the morning while getting ready to style my hair and in the evening to leave in overnight for added volume in the morning, and both ways work well.
The pictures above were taken just moments after I put it in; I simply sprayed it around my scalp to absorb any excess oil that had accumulated in the four days since I’d last washed it (yes – you read the number of days correctly!) and then massaged it in (as demonstrated by the nifty gif). Et voila! A look I’m happy with and hair that hadn’t turned into a grease ball by the end of the day.
