Apparently flute sleeves and cold shoulders are out, peasant tops and tiered skirts are in. And as much as I like trends, I like this top more. So I’m going to keep wearing it.
This fast fashion top from 2017 is not something I’d buy again for so many reasons (blended fibres so can’t be recycled to new cloth, cheaply made with weak / crooked seams, fast fashion brand with too good to be true prices that makes me question the livelihood of supply chain workers, and totally impractical style for my lifestyle outside of holidays, etc…) but I’ve already got it and I really like the look so I’ll keep wearing it until it’s only good for rags.

You know, I think the theme of my holiday dressing is: wear what you own and wear it again. And if you do want something new, go for second hand – that’s where this sparkly crossbody bag came from.
