It’s a bird, it’s a plane – no, it’s the March My Little Box! And this month the theme is bam! pop! pow! splat! – super heroes, of course. Here’s what this little Wonder Woman (a.k.a.: me!) found in her box this month…
Kerastase Cristalliste Conditioner | My Little Beauty Lip & Cheek Crayon | Caudalíe Hand & Nail Cream | Gat Rimon ‘I believe I can fly’ t-shirt | Super Stickers | My Little World Magazine
This month I tried photographing my pictures at night after work using a flash… I’m not sure if I’ll do that again because I do prefer the natural daylight in last month’s February box photos, but there you go!
This month the theme superheroes, and I love the comic book style branding throughout the box. It’s bright, playful-yet-fierce and something I’m happy to get on board with.
Inside my box was the My Little World magazine, a set of stickers (not sure what I’ll do with these, but they are cute!) a Gat Rimon t-shirt, Kerastase Cristalliste conditioner, Caudalíe hand cream (I actually bought the full size of this one recently, but it’s a new favourite so happy to have a backup!), and My Little Beauty lip & cheek crayon (a cute colour and concept, but I pretty much *never* put something that’s been on my skin on my lips & vice versa). I’m a wee bit sad that there was no illustrated print this month, but at the same time the print is the one thing that had always been really hit or miss for me – either I liked it lots and framed it, or I put it to the side and forgot about it.
As for the t-shirt, it was a really cute idea (and how sweet is that typography?!) to include, but I think it was a bold move for it to be a ‘one size’ fit. I’m pretty lucky that it will fit me, but I know it won’t fit everyone who receives the box, and that’s got to be a disappointing experience for those customers. I received the ‘I believe I can fly’ top, but on Instagram (and the cover of the magazine) I’ve seen that there’s a David Bowie version – and I’m gutted I didn’t get that one. (Love you, Bowie!) Still, my R. Kelly version is nice (even if it does remind me of my 90s childhood!) and it’s 100% cotton so I will definitely wear it.
All in all I’m happy with this box and, less than 24 hours after opening it, everything inside has already made it to all the corners of my flat (and several items to my handbag!) in their ‘new homes’ for me to enjoy.
