Daily motivation is something I’ve struggled to find while staying so close to home for so many months, away from friends and colleagues, without the stimulation of new sights, sounds and smells, so I’ve set myself some goals to try to help with staying motivated – and one of them is to walk 100km this month. Art is also one of the things I miss the most with lockdowns, so walking 4 hours round trip in the freezing cold for this opportunity was a no brainer. Continue reading

East London picture diary + outfit: casual Sunday out with long time friends
I love it when my American friends visit London, and recently my friend Jacky (who I’ve known since 2005 – two thousand and five!!) was here for a few days between other UK adventures. Not about to miss a chance to catch up, I ended up spending an entire weekend traipsing around with her. Continue reading
Wearing fringe on fringe (with fringe!) for a night out at Dishoom
Any excuse to dress up is an excuse I’m willing to take, and Saturday night dinner is always a good one! Recently for a night out I channeled my inner 1970s for a look featuring fringe on fringe with fringe (i.e. bangs, for my American friends)! Continue reading
Picture Diary: Primrose Hill & Camden Town
Spring is finally here! And while warmer weather is just around the corner, recently (while it was still winter) we had a gloriously sunny, blue sky day in London. Jeff and I took advantage with a walk from Camden up to Primrose Hill and back again, so I wanted to share with you my photo diary … Continue reading
Champagne Life at Saatchi Gallery, London
To commemorate Saatchi Gallery’s thirtieth birthday, Charles Saatchi is hosting his first all-female exhibition, Champagne Life, which brings together fourteen emerging female artists from around the world. Looking back on 2015
It’s been a while since I did a diary or recap entry. So many of my posts in 2015 were about products, places, experiences and things that I enjoyed. And don’t get me wrong – I loved writing those posts! (After all, it’s so much easier to write about something tangible…) But it’s 2016, I’ve … Continue reading
yellowbluepink at the Wellcome Collection
yellowbluepink by Ann Veronica Janssens has been open at the Wellcome Collection in London for months now, but for whatever reason, I’ve only just got around to going! I really loved it, so here’s a picture diary of Jeff & my time exploring the exhibit… Continue reading
Christmas Makers Market at East Village E20
You guys know I love supporting local business, so my when my friend and colleague Niko told me that his 5-9 brand, Earl of East London, was hosting a Christmas pop-up shop in East Village I was excited to check it out. The pop-up shop has come together under the ‘Movers + Makers’ collective, and features … Continue reading
Making wishes at Liberty London’s Wish Wall
Earlier this week my manager, Mokuska, sent me a text: a screen grab from the Liberty London Instagram account featuring their Liberty London Wish Wall. The concept is that, up on floor 2 of their London shop, there’s a Wish Wall where one can wish for anything tangible that money can buy, and the sky … Continue reading
