I can’t believe it’s already been a year since Jeff and I tied the knot; in some ways if feels like so much longer ago than that, and in other ways it feels like I wrote that blog post just last week. Regardless, the calendar says it’s been a year, so celebrations were in order!

If you remember, we had our reception at the Comedor Grill and Bar, so for our first anniversary we knew we had to go back for dinner…

When we got there the team recognised us, so we started our dinner with a glass of bubbly on the house. (Always a great way to start an evening!) Next up we enjoyed the complementary jelly, which happened to be mojito jelly; AKA the best jelly I’ve ever had. While we waited for our food to come out we exchanged cards, and had a proper laugh because neither of us picked out traditional ‘anniversary’ cards, but rather cards that we thought spoke about the other person. (Though we hadn’t discussed this beforehand!) Then we enjoyed a three course meal, followed by champagne cocktails topped with fruit. (Yum yum!) Cheers to our first year of marriage, and to many more to come!
