What I Wore: white jeans and red pompom tunic

I’ve always had a thing for floaty tops. Maybe it’s because my mom kept so many of hers from the 1970s and I liked to try them on as a kid, or maybe it’s because so many of the female characters in the movies I watched as a kid were princesses with floaty outfits. Or maybe it’s something entirely different, but either way: floaty tops are in this season so I’ve been stocking up!

This is a look I put together for a recent weekend brunch.

If you come here regularly, you’ll notice I’ve worn these white jeans and black heeled boots a couple times before! (This was a winter look, and here’s one for spring.)

This top is from Zara, and if I’m being honest I’ve got my eye on a few more in similar styles!

I accessorised with a delicate necklace (which you can barely see in these photos!), my current favourite wristwatch and the ring I got from the May My Little Dolce Vita Box.

The bag is by Street Level and I picked it up a couple of weeks ago on ASOS to wear for a client event, but I like it so much I know it’s going to find it’s way into my wardrobe at least a few more times!

And while I wore this outfit for a weekend brunch, I felt so confident wearing it so put it in the wash almost immediately once I got home so that it could be clean for an upcoming client meeting.
